The games run chronologically by year rather than by theme, each numbered and annotated, so the book reads as a career followed game by game from the early years onward. Müller sets the games in context as he goes, noting ratings, tournament and match circumstances and the state of Fischer’s form, and the text is broken up by photographs and by score tables for each match. Analysis runs in the main line with the alternatives discussed in the notes.
Best for: anyone who wants Fischer’s whole career with the games rather than a selection. Any level.
